Training Camps and Locations

The second edition of the National Initiative for Digital Competencies, known as Makeen, is set to launch in Oman. The initiative aims to equip Omani youth with specialized digital skills, preparing them for the demands of the modern job market. The training camps will be held in three locations: Suhar, Sur, and Salalah. The training camps will be conducted by a team of experienced instructors, who will provide hands-on training and guidance to the participants. The training programs will focus on developing skills in areas such as data analysis, digital marketing, and cybersecurity. Participants will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and collaborate with peers to develop their skills.

    The second edition trained 150 graduates in fields such as data science, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. The third edition trained 200 graduates in fields such as data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
